A memorable encounter between Pierre-Alexandre Mouveau and King Charles III in Bordeaux
On September 22, 2023, Pierre-Alexandre Mouveau, owner of Château de Bridoré, experienced an extraordinary moment during King Charles III's state visit to Bordeaux.
Invited to the Franco-British festival organized in honor of this royal visit, Mr. Mouveau had the honor of shaking hands with the British sovereign.
In front of Bordeaux's city hall, an enthusiastic crowd of 500 to 600 people had gathered to welcome the king and queen. Some had waited for hours in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the sovereign and extending their wishes.

« Selfies were not allowed, and there were many guidelines to follow in his presence and that of his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, but I managed to shake his hand, that was my goal. I was struck by their kindness to both of us. He didn't hesitate to make a little joke as he passed by. »
