On June 14 and 15, 2025, the Château de Bridoré will once again be transformed into a medieval arena to host the 4th edition of the Grandes Joutes .
More than just a festival, this event is a total immersion in the world of knights, offering visitors an authentic and thrilling experience.
Authentic, no-nonsense combat
The program includes equestrian jousts and foot combat in armor weighing between 15 and 25 kg.
These unchoreographed clashes promise intense and realistic duels, where each blow resonates with the echo of the past.
The weapons used, such as axes, maces and spears, are faithfully reproduced to ensure a true recreation of the period.
An adventure for the whole family
Children are not left out with a knight's trail, medieval games, archery sessions and enchanting tales.
The reconstructed medieval village also offers demonstrations on hygiene, cooking and crafts of the time, allowing everyone to discover the customs and traditions of the Middle Ages.
A fiery evening
On Saturday evening, the castle lights up with a night show combining light arrows, medieval music and a pop-rock concert.
A festive and friendly atmosphere for these two days full of emotion.
