Classified as historical monuments, the Bridoré Castle is a medieval military fortress that stands in the French commune of Bridoré, in the department of Indre et Loire, in the region Centre-Loire Valley in France.

The Bridoré Castle notably has four caponiers, a unique defense system and a dungeon of 30 meters high.

The dungeon built in 1400, has one of the highest viewpoints in Touraine (174 meters above the sea), which explains the motto of one of its illustrious owners Jean 1er le Meingre said Boucicaut – Marshal of France: “In altis habito” (“I live in the heights”).
