When the Château de Bridoré steals the spotlight...


In early March 2025, the Château de Bridoré buzzed with activity as France 3 set up its cameras. The renowned French host and musician André Manoukian honored the medieval fortress with his presence to film a new episode of the TV show “Château!”, which highlights hidden treasures of French heritage.

“Château!”, broadcasted on France 3 and presented by André Manoukian, takes viewers on a journey through France’s most beautiful castles, particularly in the Centre-Val de Loire region.





Each Sunday at 12:55 p.m., André Manoukian, as an artist and passionate cultural advocate, dives into the rich history, architecture, and music of these heritage gems, offering a fully immersive experience.

Immersive Filming Experience


Since 2023, the Château de Bridoré has been a proud member of the Loire Valley Castles Association. Its medieval past made it an unmissable stop for the show’s production team.


The shoot brought to light some of unique features offered by the Château located next to Tours and Loches in France.

  • Découverte du système d’hypocauste des bains de vapeur médiévaux, unique en Touraine.

  • Discovery of a rare medieval steam bath heating system (hypocaust), unique in the Touraine region


  • A quirky historical anecdote shared by owner Pierre-Alexandre Mouveau: “Did you know a duel between two local lords ended... in the grain silo?”
