General Conditions of Online Ticket Sale

These conditions of sale apply automatically and without restriction to all orders made on the website www.chateaudebridore.comof the private industrial and commercial establishment of the Château de Bridoré whose head office is Château de Bridoré 37600 Bridoré. They are subject to change without notice. The purchase of entry tickets to the Medieval Jousts and to the Château de Bridoré by the customer implies their unreserved acceptance of these conditions of sale.

 

These conditions apply to the exclusion of all other conditions of sale, in particular those in force for sales on site or by partner sales networks.

 

The customer declares to have the capacity to conclude this contract, that is to say to have the legal majority and not to be under guardianship or curatorship.

 

Important: If the proof of purchase is forgotten, the tickets cannot be delivered on site at the reception of the castle, and access to the site will be refused to the customer. In any case, we invite you to check your e-mail before coming to the Château de Bridoré.


Article 1 - Price and number of entry tickets

Once the reservation has been confirmed by the customer, the Château de Bridoré cannot retroactively apply reductions and occasional promotional offers. Consequently, by purchasing your ticket online, you renounce to benefit from any reduction or free admission to which you may have been entitled. In case of purchase of a reduced price ticket, proof will be requested at the entrance. 

 

1.1 Ticket prices are indicated in euros net of tax. They are displayed at the entrance to the Château de Bridoré. The Château de Bridoré estate can be privatized partially or in its entirety and subject to specific pricing. In the event of partial closure, works, reduction of opening hours, the prices remain unchanged.

 

1.2 Visitors likely to benefit from a reduced price or free admission (prices of the entrance fee to be consulted on the website must obtain their ticket on site by presenting an identity document and the related supporting documents.)

 

1.3 Within the framework set by Decree No. 2004-836 of August 20, 2004 taken pursuant to Article 1341 of the Civil Code, the Château de Bridoré has opted for a cap on the amount of the order. Therefore, the total number of tickets that can be purchased per person cannot exceed 19 tickets regardless of their prices.

 

1.4 All orders regardless of their origin are payable in euros.

 

1.5 The applicable prices are those in force on the day of the order, although Château de Bridoré reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The services will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force at the time of the registration of the orders.

 

1.6 The parking of vehicles is authorized in the car parks provided for this purpose.

 

Article 2 - Availability

The Château de Bridoré sells a predefined quantity of tickets on its website. It reserves the right to increase or reduce the number of tickets on sale.

 

A ticket is sold for a day of visit chosen by the customer.

Ticket purchases are made in real time. In this context, the website informs you of the availability of tickets when placing your order.

 

The "My basket" space allows you to check that the order made corresponds to your wishes. As long as the payment has not been registered, you have the possibility in the "My basket" page to modify the contents of your order.

 

For any request for cancellation after validation of the transaction, refer to article 9 below.

  • Content of the offer associated with the ticket. The characteristics of the offer associated with the tickets sold are subject to change. Therefore, the photographs and texts describing the offer associated with the tickets are not contractual.

  • Validity date of the offer.

 

Article 4 - Payment

 4.1 Payment by credit card allows you to buy your tickets online and in a definitive way. The cards accepted for the payment of an order are the network cards:

  • Credit card / Visa / Eurocard / Mastercard

  • JCB

  • American Express

4.2 The Private Institution has the obligation to establish in duplicate a proof of transaction comprising:

  • the date, time, subject and amount of the transaction

A copy will be emailed to you.

The second copy will be kept for one year by the Château de Bridoré. 

 

Article 5 - Securing payments and personal data

5.1 Securing payments

The Château de Bridoré site is subject to a security system.

 

The Château de Bridoré has adopted the secure payment solution which uses the SSL encryption process. The customer's bank details are thus protected since only the payment agreement codes issued by the banks are kept.

 

Château de Bridoré guarantees that the cryptology means and services used to secure transactions have been authorized or declared in application of the legislation in force.

 

5.2 Personal data

5.2.1 - The information and data concerning you are necessary for the management of your order and your relations with Château de Bridoré.   They are stored in the base of Bridoré Castle. The data is kept in your personal account by the Château de Bridoré: this data allows you to carry out your transaction. In addition, this data, once recorded, allows you to carry out your future transactions more quickly.

 

They may allow us to contact you, as far as possible, in the event of cancellation or a change in the date of the service for which you purchased tickets under article 9.1 below.

In accordance with the law "Informatique et Libertés" of January 6, 1978, you have a right to access, rectify and delete your personal data which can be exercised at Customer Service (whose contact details appear in article 10 below) indicating your surname, first name, address and if possible your customer reference.

 

Your letter must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of an identity document bearing your signature. A response will then be sent to you within 2 months of receipt of the request.

 

The automated processing of the customer's personal information and in particular the management of customer emails, has been declared to the CNIL by Château de Bridoré.

 

5.2.2 - Through us, depending on your choices on the registration form, you may also receive offers or information from Château de Bridoré by email or post. If you do not wish to appear in our files, it is advisable to indicate it during your transactions, by selecting the appropriate parameter.

If you no longer wish to receive information relating to the Château de Bridoré, you can ask us to do so at any time by specifying it in "My account" in the "Personal information" section.

 

5.3 Cookies

You declare to have read these general conditions of sale before placing your order and to have accepted them. The validation of your order therefore implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale.

 

Unless proven otherwise, the recorded data constitutes proof of all transactions made by Château de Bridoré and its customers.

 

Article 7 - Confirmation of the order

Your ticket order is not definitively confirmed and does not bind Château de Bridoré until the customer receives the email sent by the contact center confirming that the order has been validated. Consequently, we invite you to consult your e-mail or your mail.

 

On the other hand, the archiving of orders and proof of payment is carried out on a reliable and irreversible medium so as to correspond to a faithful and durable copy, in accordance with article 1348 of the Civil Code.

Article 8 - Obtaining tickets

8.1 - The method of obtaining tickets is described below.

 

Step 1: Select the chosen ticket.

Step 2: Choose the date of the visit. For orders of dated tickets, the customer is invited to check the date and time reserved.

 

Step 3: Choose the quantity of tickets you want.

 

Step 4: Add to cart and check your cart.

Before definitively registering the order, the customer will have the possibility of checking his selection and may modify it at his convenience.

 

Step 5: Proceed with your identification and registration on the site.

To place an order, each customer must be identified after having previously  created an account secured by identifiers (login and password).

The order will not be definitively recorded until the last validation of the order screen. This last click is equal to the handwritten signature referred to in article 1341 of the civil code. From this click, the order is considered irrevocable and can only be called into question in the cases provided for herein.

 

Step 7: Receive   the order confirmation acknowledgment. By keeping this e-mail and/or printing it, the customer has proof of his order which the national domain of Chambord advises him to keep. The purchased tickets will be sent to the customer, by e-mail, as an attachment in PDF format. If you do not receive the items, check your spam.

8.2- For any payment, the debit is made as soon as the order is validated on the Château de Bridoré website. The debit of the bank card is independent of the printing of the tickets.

8.3 - The proof of payment is sent to the email address you provide during the ordering process.


Article 9 - Cancellation and refund

9.1 - A ticket cannot be refunded, taken back or exchanged, except in the event of cancellation of the corresponding service by Château de Bridoré. A ticket may also not be resold at a price higher than that of its face value.

9.2 - Upon announcement of the cancellation or modification of the date of the service for which you have purchased tickets and which is attributable to the Château de Bridoré. You agree that our customer service, where possible, may use the contact details you entered when booking to keep you informed of the procedure to follow.

9.3 - In accordance with article L L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the sale of admission tickets to a museum, assimilated to the provision of leisure services, does not entitle you to any withdrawal period.

9.4 - Any dispute, whatever its nature, must be made in writing to Customer Service (whose contact details appear in article 10 below) no later than the day of the visit.

Article 11 - Responsibilities

You must check the ticket(s) and confirmation of purchase online at the time they are issued or received in your email. You are solely responsible for the use by yourself or by a third party of the tickets sold.

 

The Château de Bridoré cannot be held responsible for any non-performance resulting from a case of force majeure, beyond its control, including in particular, cases of interruption of transport, strike, exceptional climatic conditions, fire...

 

Each visitor must comply with the visitor regulations displayed at the entrance to the Château de Bridoré.

 

The visitor undertakes to respect all instructions communicated by the Château de Bridoré concerning the organization of the services. The Château de Bridoré reserves the right to refuse access to any person whose attitude, behavior or dress could be deemed likely to create disturbances inside the Château, to disturb visitors and visits. In this case, no refund can be requested by the customer who will have been refused access to the castle for the reasons mentioned above.

 

The visitor will be held responsible for any damage, of a direct or indirect nature, that he may cause during his presence in the domain, whether with regard to staff, customers, equipment or regard to the animals present on the estate.

 

Finally, the Château de Bridoré can in no way be held liable in the event of loss or theft of a ticket. It will not be possible to issue a duplicate on the spot.

 

Right of reproduction: any reproduction or use of the image of the Château, of the entire estate or of an exhibition work or collections other than for personal or family use must be the subject of a prior request. and will be subject to the authorization of the Château de Bridoré.

 
Article 12 - Applicable law - Disputes

The ticket sales referred to in these General Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the Château de Bridoré have exclusive jurisdiction.

In case of difficulties on the interpretation or application of these conditions, the parties will try as far as possible to settle their dispute amicably. All disputes to which these conditions of sale may give rise must be brought, even in the event of multiple defenders or guarantee calls, before the competent court of the head office of Château de Bridoré.
