A meeting between history and technology
A strong symbol of our DNA
Establishing a historic castle while cultivating an innovative educational approach is no coincidence. For several years, the Château de Bridoré has sought to offer its visitors an experience that combines tradition and innovation.
This is how the idea of bringing artificial intelligence and medieval heritage into dialogue emerged. Using a historical figure, a medieval knight, the technology now allows visitors to ask questions and learn more about the castle's history, while engaging in interactive dialogue.
An augmented medieval immersion
Pierre-Alexandre Mouveau , owner of the château, and Yann Froger , passionate about heritage and technology, have developed a unique conversational tool. The result: an interactive experience where visitors can chat with a knight in armor... straight out of the past, but boosted with AI !
This innovative initiative, the result of a close collaboration between history and technology , allows visitors to ask the knight questions about the history of the castle, medieval battles, or even the lives of knights. Thanks to artificial intelligence , the answers are precise and rich, making each interaction unique.
Installed on the top floor of the dungeon, this original device allows you to learn more about the history of the castle in a fun, educational and immersive way.
" We wanted to create an original visitor experience that goes beyond simply discovering history. Thanks to AI, we can offer our visitors a journey through time, while enriching their experience through direct interactions with historical figures. It's a true bridge between past and future ," explains Pierre-Alexandre Mouveau, owner of the Château.
A first in the region
The Château de Bridoré initiative is a first in the region. Integrating cutting-edge technology to serve culture, this new development represents a real turning point in the approach to heritage visits.
The initiative was widely praised by La Nouvelle République , which devoted a detailed article to this innovation on June 5, 2023. The newspaper highlighted the fun and educational aspect of this technology, emphasizing the importance of making history accessible to all, especially to younger generations who are often more familiar with digital tools.
Thanks to this media coverage, Château de Bridoré positions itself as a player in innovation in the culture and heritage sector.
